For seven days you will indulge in deep relaxation and rejuvenation at a world class spa hotel as you kick up a notch your yoga practice.  

This transformative travel experience will be lead by Yoga teacher and sound healer, Scott Bailey from HOT AND SOUL YOGA Studios Middletown /ColtsNeck New Jersey and YMCA, Red Bank,  NJ with coordination by Patricia Bessa, Portuguese native and integrative wellness coach. 

Scott and Patricia will guide you during this experience to a place that will expand your mind into new horizons and make you deeply connect with other yogis and your inner self .Whatever your reasons: spiritual connection, self-awareness, relaxation,  time away from home and to deepen your yogic path, this promises to be a well deserved investment in your serenity, health and well-being cherish for years to come!

 Each day's practice will focus on one chakra, cleansing the body, going deeper into the subtle body. You'll welcome the start of each day with morning meditation and grounding asana practices.  At  the end of the day you can choose to melt into the mat with an evening gong bath, dissolve stress in heated infinity pools, saunas and book spa treatments. Enjoy regional farm-to-table chef crafted nutritional vegetarian meals,  sunset dining at the panoramic restaurant bar. Get transported back in time by touring  villages dating back to Roman times and taste Portuguese green wine in  “Tuscany style“ wine estates. Spend a day strolling and shopping in the cosmopolitan city of Porto.  Hike pristine forest paths and dive into river beaches that will naturally make you open your body and soul to regeneration.

YOGA PROGRAM 

SEVEN Chakras SEVEN days Vinyasa Yoga with Sound Meditation

 

Start with setting your daily meditation intentions with river views. 

Then follow a chakra focused daily asanas to activate and balance your BODY - MIND -SOUL .  Transcend  in the evening with sound bath and a restorative flow. 

Scott Bailey practices Yoga Vinyasa alignment based and was trained under yoga teacher Rodney Yee of Yoga Shanti New York City  and in  Sound Healing with Gong Master and Yogi Bijan protege , Don Conreaux. 

All levels. Modifications  available from beginners to advanced . 


Pre-breakfast 

  • 7:15 am    "Set your daily intensions" meditation and breathwork exercises 
  • 7:30 am  80 minutes  "Chakra Vinyasa Flow"   2 chakras daily

 *some classes may include a pool sound meditation

Paiva Walkways are located on the left bank of the Paiva River. 

They are 8 km that provide a walk in an authentic natural sanctuary along the brave waters of the river.
Breathtaking landscapes, natural, biological, geological and archaeological riches are arguments that invite visitors to get lost on the wooden trail that winds along the banks of the Paiva River.

The route extends between the river beaches of Areinho and Espiunca. A journey that will certainly be in the heart and in the mind of any lover of Nature.


THE GARGANTA DO PAIVA AND A LITTLE FURTHER ON, THE AGUIEIRAS FALLS ARE TWO POINTS OF INTEREST THAT SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED GIVEN ITS NATURAL BEAUTY

A 17Th CENTURY GREEN WINE ESTATE


 Located on the border between the granitic zone of the Green Wines Region and the shale region of the Port Wines, is the Quinta de Covela.
Get to know the panoramic views of the river and wander in the 45 hectares of the property, 18 of which are planted with vineyards. In the end, don’t go away without sampling the wines produced here.


DATING BACK TO THE 16TH CENTURY, THE OLD CASA DE COVELA, FORMED BY THE RUINS OF THE RENAISSANCE BUILDING, THE WINERIES AND THE CHAPEL, TESTIFIES TO THE MULTISECULAR PRESENCE OF WINE PRODUCTION AND THE HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE
